General Questions

 
1. What services does CHOR Laundry offer?
CHOR Laundry Services specializes in Wash & Fold laundry care with both Same-Day and Next-Day pickup and delivery options. We also provide a membership plan for regular users and special rates for local heroes such as first responders, healthcare workers, and teachers.
 
2. What areas do you serve?
We currently service Orlando, Winter Park, Lake Nona, Altamonte Springs, Kissimmee, and surrounding areas within a 50-mile radius of downtown Orlando.
 
3. How do I place an order?
Simply visit our website or download the CHOR mobile app. Select your desired service (Same-Day or Next-Day), choose a pickup window, and confirm your order. You’ll receive a confirmation email and SMS with tracking details.
 
4. What is the turnaround time for laundry services?
 

  • Same-Day Service: Laundry picked up by 2 PM will be delivered by 8 PM the same day.

  • Next-Day Service: Laundry picked up between 8 AM – 8 PM will be delivered by 8 PM the following day.

 
 
Pickup & Delivery
 
1. Do I need to be home for pickup and delivery?
No, you do not need to be home. Simply designate a secure spot for pickup and drop-off during booking. You’ll receive SMS updates to keep you informed every step of the way.
 
2. What should I do if I miss a pickup or delivery?
If you miss your scheduled pickup, contact us at (407) 205-7588 or info@chorservices.com to reschedule. Missed deliveries will be securely held for 48 hours before a second delivery attempt.
 
3. Can I schedule recurring pickups?
Yes. With our CHOR Plan membership, you can set up automatic weekly or bi-weekly pickups to keep your laundry routine seamless.
 
 
Pricing & Payment
 
1. How much does CHOR Laundry cost?

 

  • Next-Day Service: $29.45 per bag (15–20 lbs)

  • Same-Day Service: $39.45 per bag (15–20 lbs)

  • CHOR Plan Member Rate: $25.95 per bag (15–20 lbs)

  • Local Heroes Rate: $25.95 per bag without membership

 
2. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and contactless payments through the CHOR app.
 
3. Can I tip my driver?
Yes, you can add a tip during checkout or directly through the app after service completion.
 
 
Membership & Local Heroes Program
 
1. How does the CHOR Plan work?
Our CHOR Plan membership is $12.99/month and offers exclusive savings of $3.50 per bag, priority scheduling, waived weekend fees, and surprise member perks.
 
2. Who qualifies for the Local Heroes rate?
First responders, healthcare workers, teachers, and military personnel qualify for the Local Heroes rate without needing a membership. Simply verify your status during sign-up.
 
 
Laundry Prep & Care
 
1. What type of laundry can I send?
We handle everyday laundry, including clothing, sheets, towels, and more. Items requiring special care, such as dry-clean-only or heavily soiled items, are not accepted.
 
2. How should I prepare my laundry for pickup?

 

  • Use a CHOR-provided reusable bag or any sturdy 13-gallon bag.

  • Separate delicates and label them clearly.

  • Ensure no sharp objects or prohibited items are included.

 
3. What happens if my items are damaged or missing?
Our team handles every item with care. In the rare event of damage or loss, contact us within 24 hours of delivery, and we will resolve the issue through our Satisfaction Guarantee.
 
 
Cancellation & Refunds
 
1. Can I cancel or reschedule my order?
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your order up to 2 hours before the scheduled pickup. Cancellations made after this window may not be eligible for a refund.
 
2. What is your refund policy?
Full refunds are issued for cancellations made within the cancellation window. Refunds are not provided for missed pickups or after laundry has been collected.
 
 
Donations & Community Support
 
1. What is the Laundry Donation Assist program?
CHOR Laundry offers a complimentary laundry donation service. Simply include a labeled bag of gently used items, and we’ll wash and deliver them to local shelters in Central Florida.
 
2. How can I participate?
When scheduling a laundry pickup, indicate that you’d like to add a donation bag. We’ll handle the rest at no additional cost.
